WCF is pleased to join the Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA2020) community. TFA2020 is a global umbrella partnership that includes the public and private sector as well as civil society, to remove deforestation from palm oil, beef, soy, and paper and pulp supply chains.
It has built a strong network of public and private sector partners that are also directly engaged along the cocoa supply chain and are World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) members.
WCF hopes to benefit from TFA2020’s vast network of partners, share expertise across commodities, and build consensus around strategy development to tackle deforestation particularly in West Africa.
To get started, WCF will participate in the TFA2020 West Africa group and will attend the TFA2020 General Assembly from May 14-16, 2018.
WCF looks forward to a fruitful partnership with TFA2020 to advance sustainable agriculture.
