World coffee exports amounted to 10.11 million bags in July 2018, up 4.6% from July 2017 show ICO’s monthly figures. Shipments of Arabica and Robusta rose by 4.6% and 4.7% respectively.
Among Arabicas, Colombian Milds and Brazilian Naturals showed a positive, while Other Milds saw a decrease over the same month last year.
Exports from Brazil, Vietnam and Colombia – the three largest world exporters – were up by 24.2%, 20.7% and 7.5%, while Indonesia recorded a sharp decline in shipments (-39,9%).
Oct – July period
Exports in the first 10 months of coffee year 2017/18 (Oct/17 to Jul/18) rose by 0.9% to 101.2 million bags compared to 100.34 million bags in the same period in the last coffee year.
