LONDON, UK – World coffee exports amounted to 10.62 million bags in December 2017, compared with 10.54 million in December 2016, reports the ICO in its monthly statistics.
Exports in the first 3 months of coffee year 2017/18 (Oct/17 to Dec/17) have decreased by 6.7% to 28.36 million bags compared to 30.4 million bags in the same period in the last coffee year.
Over this period, exports of Arabicas were down 4% to 18.66 million bags. Shipments of Colombian Milds and Brazilian Naturals decreased by 8.8% and 8.2% respectively, while exports of Other Milds rose by 8.7% to 5.346 million bags.
