LONDON, UK – SCAE are excited to reveal a sneak peek into the education workshops available at World of Coffee Rimini from Tuesday 10th June 2014 – Thursday 12th June 2014.

On Tuesday 10th June SCAE world renown Authorised Trainer John Thompson will be hosting a seminar on the Impact of coffee processing on flavour profile – (Green Coffee Intermediate) You can see some session information below;
This session looks at how variations in the processing of coffee at origin impacts on the final cup profile when other factors such as variety and altitude remain the same. The workshop is mostly practical being based round a cupping session but will also involve a discussion of why process changes flavour profile.
Wednesday 11th June you can learn how to develop sensory skills (Sensory Intermediate) – with Ludivine Bezbakh
The goal of this seminar is to discover “le Nez du Café”, a unique product to train one’s nose and to learn to recognize the aromas of the different coffees of the world. Following this presentation, there will be an opportunity to develop your skills in a practical session.
On the final day of the show you can attend the ‘Understanding the coffee markets’ with SCAE Board Director Ludovic Maillard
This seminar teaches you the principles in planning and management of your green coffee stocks. It identifies the basic market principles that are involved in pricing changes, and shows you how create coffee green contracts. You will also find out how to apply knowledge of seasonality in coffee cropping, shipping and storage, quality differences and different certification schemes into your green coffee stock management.
