LONGMONT, Colo., U.S. — Ziggi’s Coffee, announces the singing of a new franchise deal to bring its convenient drive-thru to the Portland area. The Colorado-based franchise company has grown quickly and began expanding nationwide in 2018 with locations now open in Arizona and Oklahoma, in addition to their home state. The company has locations opening soon in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Iowa, and California.

Franchise owners Karen and Dennis Borman are the latest to join the Ziggi’s family, bringing the brand to Oregon. The couple says they were impressed by the level of support provided to franchisees, as well as the passion for the business displayed by the entire Ziggi’s team.

“I got the feeling that we were part of a family at Ziggi’s,” said Karen. “Everyone was just so nice and genuine. They’re real people. You can really tell that this is their baby; that they really care about it and want to make sure you’re going to take care of it as well. That’s very reassuring.”

Karen says she was ready to do something different after more than 30 years in nursing but she didn’t want to reinvent the wheel. Ziggi’s made it easy to make her dream of business ownership a reality, providing streamlined processes, quality products, marketing, and ongoing support.

With Dennis handling the business behind the scenes, Karen will be responsible for day to day operations. The couple is now looking for a location, which will feature the company’s signature drive-thru for fast and convenient service.

As they begin this new journey, Karen says she is excited to introduce Ziggi’s to the area and looks forward to focusing more of her energy on community involvement, one of Ziggi’s core values.

“At the heart of the company is a true desire to give back to the community and I really resonate with that,” said Karen who hopes to use her new business as a way to connect with more people. “As a nurse, I’ve been in the business of making people feel good. This is just a new way for me to help my community and make them smile.”
